The National University Hospital (NUH) is pleased to present the NUH Paediatric Robotic Surgery Workshop, featuring an engaging Live Broadcast and an interactive Wet Lab experience!
Robotic surgery is revolutionising minimally invasive paediatric surgery, enhancing precision, shortening recovery times, and improving surgical outcomes. Endorsed by the Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to explore Robotic Surgery, refine your technical skills, and engage in meaningful discussions with leading expert in the field.
Paediatric studies using the robotic approach were first published in 2001. In Singapore, the NUH Department of Paediatric Surgery performed the initial cases of robotic surgery under the proctorship of Dr John Meehan in 2009, Professor Craig Peters in 2011, and Professor Mohan Gundeti in 2024.
Building on the pioneering success of our inaugural Paediatric Robotic Surgery Week in August 2024, the NUH Department of Paediatric Surgery is proud to organise this workshop with Professor Mohan Gundeti as the invited faculty.
