ABSTRACT CATEGORIES
Abstract submissions are welcomed in the following categories:
MEDICAL
Focused on general medical practices, research, or healthcare advancements
NURSING
Focused on nursing procedures, patient-care techniques, or nursing-related innovations
SURGICAL VIDEO
Presenting videos demonstrating surgical procedures, techniques, or advancement in surgical care
PRESENTATION TYPES
Applicable to Medical and Nursing Categories only
1. POSTER PRESENTATION
2. ORAL PRESENTATION
3. YOUNG INVESTIGATOR ORAL PRESENTATION
Applicable to presenters who are under 40 years old at the time of presentation
Presenters may specify their preferred presentation format (poster, oral, or young investigator oral presentation) during submission.
Due to limited availability, not all oral presentation requests will be granted. Abstracts will be evaluated by a panel of experts based on scientific merits. Abstracts not accepted for oral presentation will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent via email by 20 JUNE 2025.

Presenting authors must be from ASEAN countries except Singapore.

Presenting authors must have significantly contributed to the design, data collection, and analysis of the abstract.

Selected awardees must be present for the event physicallyto receive the award.

Additional Note: Awardees under 40 years old may also qualify for the Young Investigator Award.

Notification: Awardees will be contacted by 20 JUNE 2025.
YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD

Eligibility:

Presenters must be under 40 years old at the time of presentation.

The presenting author must present the work and have significantly contributed to the design, data collection, and analysis of the abstract.

Selection: Awardee will be chosen during the Young Investigator Oral Presentation session.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. Multiple Submissions: Authors may submit and present more than one abstract.
3. Deadline: Abstracts must be submitted online by 16 MAY 2025, 23:59 hours (SGT). Late submissions or those sent via post, fax, or email will not be accepted.
4. Originality: Abstracts must not have been previously published or presented
SUBMISSION FORMAT
MEDICAL & NURSING CATEGORIES
The abstract must not exceed 350 words and should include these sections: Background & Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions. The section headings should appear in UPPERCASE.
Only 1 Table OR Graph is allowed.
SURGICAL VIDEO CATEGORY

Content: Submissions of surgical videos are encouraged.

Duration: Video length should be between 5 to 7 minutes.

Resolution: Minimum 720p (1280 x 720 pixels).

Title Slide: Include the video title, surgeon(s) and co-authors’ names, the institution and the location (city/state, country) at the start of the video.

Patient Privacy: Videos must comply with HIPAA regulations. Remove or obscure any identifiable patient information (e.g., names, faces). Non-compliant videos will be rejected.

Abstract Summary: Include a 250-word summary of the video content.
